Angela Burgess is a Practice Nurse specialising in Dermatology and Respiratory Care.
Angela completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Adult Nursing in 2017. Following this she worked as a Community Nurse before joining the Practice Nursing Team at Whitstable Medical Practice in 2019. She now shares her time between the Practice Nursing Services and the East Kent Community Dermatology Service. She has recently completed her diploma in Enhanced Clinical Practice.
Within the dermatology service Angela completes medication reviews and undertakes cryotherapy for problematic warts and verruca’s. She also undertakes local anaesthetic skin biopsies and minor excisions.
Angela completed the St Johns Academy Skin Surgery Course for Nurses in November 2021. In addition to this she completed a PCDS skin surgery course in October 2023.
