Dr Short is a General Practitioner with an Extended Role (GPwER) in Dermatology. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree at Guys, Kings and St Thomas Medical Schools in London in 2002. Following qualification, she worked at Guys and St Thomas' Hospital moving to East Kent in 2004. She worked in hospital medicine completing her postgraduate medical exams (MRCP) before moving into General Practice in 2009.
She has worked as a GP Partner for the past 13 years and during this time has further developed her interest in dermatology completing a post graduate diploma in clinical Dermatology (2015) and Dermoscopy (2021) at Cardiff University. She now provides specialised care and expertise in diagnosing and treating various dermatological conditions and skin disorders in the community dermatology clinic.
